This is follow-up information regarding the water leak from the underground reservoirs at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
Though water transfer from the underground reservoir No.2 to H2 area tank was scheduled to start today (April 14), the transfer will not be performed today. Due to the leakage which occurred after starting water transfer from the underground reservoir No.3 to No.6, the water transfer schedule is being adjusted.
As mentioned in the follow-up report No.50, the water transfer from the underground reservoir No.3 to No.6 utilizing the permanent facilities is going to be suspended today (April 14) since the transfer of the planned amount of water will be completed.
Since the water transfer from the underground reservoir No.2 to H2 area tank will need to use part of the transfer line from No.3 to No.6, the transfer line will be switched once the water transfer from No.3 to No.6 is completed.
