Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report 2013

Regarding the suspension of Unit 3 spent fuel pool alternative cooling system at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station announced on April 5, the alternative cooling system was restarted at 5:20 PM on the same day. The pool water temperature as of 6:10 PM was 15.2℃.(Previously announced)

(The pool water temperature before the cooling was suspended was 15.1℃ as of 2:00 PM on April 5.)

Unit 3 spent fuel pool water temperatures after the restart are as follows.

11:00 PM on April 5: 15.5℃
5:00 AM on April 6: 15.5℃
