On January 15, 2013, the Nuclear Damage Liability Facilitation Fund and TEPCO jointly submitted changes made to the Special Business Plan (Comprehensive Special Business Plan) previously approved on May 9, 2012 to the competent ministers (the office in charge of the Nuclear Damage Liability Facilitation Fund in the Cabinet Office and the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) in accordance with Article 46, Clause 1 of the Nuclear Damage Liability Facilitation Fund Law. The changes were approved today.

Based on the Comprehensive Special Business Plan whose recent revisions have been approved, we will continue to implement compensation payouts with courtesy and compassion, decommissioning, and drastic management streamlining while maintaining a stable power supply.
