Corrections Made to the Reports on Our Facility Management Plan for Unit 1-4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Based on the "Policy on the Mid-term Security"

The reports on our facility management plan for Unit 1-4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station based on the "Policy on the Mid-term Security" (Version 1, Revision 2*1), (Version 2, Revision 2*2) and (Version 3, Revision*3) were corrected and submitted to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry today.

The following corrections have been made this time.

Report on our facility management plan for Unit 1-4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station based on the "Policy on the Mid-term Security" (Version 1, Revision 2)
- Highly radioactive contaminated water treatment facility, storage facilities (such as tanks), spent sludge storage facility, spent cesium absorption tower storage facility and related equipments (transfer pipes and pumps, etc.)
- Buildings where highly radioactive contaminated water is stored (or accumulated)

Report on our facility management plan for Unit 1-4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station based on the "Policy on the Mid-term Security" (Version 2, Revision 2)
- Spent fuel dry cask temporary storage facility

Report on our facility management plan for Unit 1-4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station based on the "Policy on the Mid-term Security" (Version 3, Revision)
- Radiation protection and control
- Radiation monitoring
- Instructions on managing radiation exposure through radioactive materials and objects contaminated by radioactive materials and disposing radioactive waste
- Radioactive liquid waste treatment facility and related facilities/equipments

The following related to deplexing of the diesel generator for the spare nitrogen supply equipment (nitrogen gas separator on the hill) installed as a countermeasure against the Tsunami, etc. has also been changed.

- Nitrogen injection equipment in the PCV

We will continue our utmost efforts in ensuring safety at Unit 1-4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station in accordance with the facility management plan (version 1-3) we have developed.
