Report with regards to "Policy on the mid term security" for the Units 1 to 4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station to Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (2) (Revised 2 ) and (3) (Revised)
  
We received, from Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency at the Ministry of 
Economy, Trade and Industry, an instruction document*1 entitled 
"Compatibility for "Policy on the mid term security" concerning the Units 
1 to 4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo Electric Power 
Company (instruction)" and were instructed*2 by the Minister of Economy, 
Trade and Industry to report on a plan of how we operate and manage our 
facilities based on the "Policy on the mid term security". 
                                       (Previously announced on October 3) 
 
Following the instruction, by January 19, we have reported to NISA a plan 
concerning the operation and management of the facilities listed below and 
results of its safety evaluation while giving consideration to the 
opinions from opinion hearing committee. 
(Version 2) 
 -Nuclear Reactor Primary Containment Vessel 
 -Management of Solid Radioactive Waste such as debris contaminated by 
  radioactive materials 
 -Fuel removal from Spent Fuel Pools 
 -Spent Fuel Common Pool etc. 
 -Temporary storage facility for Spent Fuel Dry Cask 
 -Monitoring Room / Control Room 
(Version 3) 
 -Radiation protection and management 
 -Radiation monitoring 
 -Radiation risk reduction 
 -Explanation documents regarding management of radiation exposure from 
  the radioactive materials and materials being contaminated by the 
  radioactive materials and disposal of radioactive waste 
 -Facilities relating to radioactive liquid waste 
                  (Previously announced on December 8, 15, January 18, 19) 
 
We have revised the content of the plan and safety evaluation regarding 
above in consideration of the opinions from the opinion hearing committee 
and reported to NISA today. 
 
We will continuously endeavor to secure the safety in Unit 1 to 4 based on 
the plan (version 1 to 3) in consideration of the opinions from opinion 
hearing committee.
