Regarding the samples taken daily at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power
Station (samples include station site air, seawater around the station), we
are carrying out nuclide analyses, determining the radiation dose of the
three main nuclides*, and reporting them to Nuclear and Industry Safety
Agency (NISA) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), as
well as the Fukushima prefecture.
Also in regard with the main three nuclides and the result of the other
nuclides, we are planning to reevaluate, compose the results, and report
them to NISA of METI.
(announced on April 4th, 20th, 2011)
Today, we reevaluated the nuclide analyses result on the following samples,
and have reported this to NISA of METI and the Fukushima Prefecture;
samples are station site air, seawater / marine soil around the station,
seawater around Unit 1 to 4 intake, sub-drain water around turbine building
and Centralized Radiation Waste Treatment Facility, seawater offshore of
Ibaraki and Miyagi.
We will also reevaluate, and report the result of the nuclide analyses
result of station site air, seawater around the station, etc taken after
July 2.
*the main three nuclides are Iodine-131, Cesium-134, Cesium-137
