Regarding the implementation of the Briefing Session on Smart Meter Bidding (Mainly for 60A)
Nuclear Damage Liability Facilitation Fund (hereinafter referred to as Fund) and Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated (hereinafter referred to as TEPCO) have announced
implementing the briefing session on the bidding for smart meters required in fiscal 2014, since September 30, 2013. We made the briefing session on October 17, 2013.

2.Participating Companies
- 7 suppliers who are seeking to take part in the competitive bidding in fiscal 2014. 3 companies out of 7 are overseas companies.
3.Content
- Give an explanation of the contract period, quantity, bidding schedule and procedures, questions and answers, etc.
4.Further schedule
- Date of bidding: November 7, 2013
- Items for bidding: 60A, Quantity: approximately 1.14million units
- TEPCO will conclude the contract after price negotiation based on the bidding result. (We are aiming for within mid- to late-November, 2013)
