With regard to the article in Sankei Shimbun's Jan 6 2015 morning edition which reported that LIXIL President & CEO Yoshiaki Fujimori is being considered by the Japanese government as the new TEPCO chairman, we would like to note that there is no truth to what is reported here.
We have no plans for a change in personnnel as mentioned above.
In addition, the same article states that there is an expectation that TEPCO's unconsolidated ordinary profit for the current fiscal year will be around 130 billion yen. This is also not true, and our expectation remains unchanged from our announcement on Dec 17 2014, which is that consolidated ordinary profit will be 227 billion yen, and the unconsolidated profit will be 179 billion yen.
