At 3:55 PM today (April 3), an alarm went off indicating high radioactive concentration at the continuous dust monitor installed at the main gate of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.The updates on the incident are provided below.
The alarm indicated radiation concentration exceeded 1×10-4Bq/cm3 (half the level of the full-face mask wearing standard at Fukushima Daiichi NPS).
We conducted a dust sampling at the main gate, and the result was below the detection limit (5.4×10-6Bq/cm3).
No significant change is found with the monitoring post readings.
