We deeply apologize to all residents living in the vicinity of our power stations and broader society for the tremendous inconvenience and anxiety due to the accident at our Fukushima Daiichi and Daini Nuclear Power Stations (the "Accident").
Today, we have started sending out compensation applications for the "comprehensive claim method" (Previously announced on July 24, 2012) which allows for an all-at-once payment covering the compensation period from July 1, 2012 and on*1 targeted for farmers who had started their business before the evacuation order was given by the government and operate (or operated) part of or all of their business in the evacuation order zone. The applications will be accepted starting from November 29, 2012.
The application forms of the comprehensive claim method will be sent out to farmers who have applied for compensation covering the first half of 2012 using the form we specify and have agreed with the payment*2.
*2 For those who applied for compensation covering the year 2011 and agreed with the payment and who have not applied for the first half of 2012, direct mail requesting for application will be sent on the same day.
