On September 12, 2012, we received a directive document* "Measures to be taken for the incorrect input data used in the evaluation of structural strength and seismic capacity of the spent fuel dry cask temporary storage facility included in the "Report on our facility management plan for Unit 1-4 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station based on the "Policy on the Mid-term Security" (Direction)" from the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. (Previously announced on September 13, 2012)
In accordance with the direction, we investigated the cause of this issue and discussed recurrence prevention measures while reconfirming the input data accuracy. The results have been submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Authority today.
