Report on the Plan towards Radiation Dose Reduction at the Site Boundaries at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station to the Nuclear Regulatory Authority

On September 12, 2012, we received a direction*1 "Collection of Report on the Plan towards Radiation Dose Reduction at the Site Boundaries of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" from the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. (Previously announced on September 13, 2012)

In accordance with the direction given, we have developed a report (attachment) on the basic policies and countermeasures for achieving radiation dose reduction at the site boundaries of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station along with evaluation results and submitted it to the Nuclear Regulatory Authority*2 today.

*2 Though the direction above was received from the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the report was submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Authority which has been established after NISA was abolished on September 19, 2012.
