On March 28, 2012, we received a directive document*1 "Establishment of an Implementation Plan on Reliability Improvement Measures at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" from the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. (Previously announced on March 28, 2012)
On May 11, 2012, our implementation plan on reliability improvement measures at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station was submitted to NISA. The implementation plan was then revised based on the opinions received at the hearing held at NISA, and the revised plan was submitted to NISA on July 24, 2012. (Previously announced on May 12 and July 24, 2012)
On July 25, 2012, we received a directive document*2 "Further measures to include in the implementation plan on reliability improvement measures at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (Direction)" from NISA. (Previously announced on July 25, 2012)
According to this direction, we have reviewed our implementation plan on reliability improvement measures at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. As a part of the review, we have summarized a report "Plan of building an additional storage tank based on the estimated amount of concentrated salt water and water treated by the multi-nuclide removal equipment, etc. to be generated in the next three years" and submitted it to NISA today.
Appropriate measures will be implemented for the remaining items included in the direction given.
