On February 24, 2012, we received a directive document* titled "Measures against the temperature increase in the lower part of the Reactor Pressure Vessel of Unit 2 at TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (Direction)" from Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. (Press release issued on February 25, 2012.)

In accordance with the direction, we have evaluated the reliability of each thermometer currently in use and reported the results to NISA.
