Regarding the radioactive water leakage from the condensed water transfer pipe (anti-pressure hose) connected to the condensed water storage of the desalination system (reverse osmosis membrane) at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, which caused water leakage into the sea through the drainage, we received a directive document*1 "Measures taken against radioactive water leakage into the sea from the condensed water transfer pipe connected to the condensed water storage of the desalination system at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (Direction)" from the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) on March 26, 2012. (Press release issued on March 26, 2012)
Then on April 5, 2012, we received a document*2 "Radioactive water leakage into the sea from the condensed water transfer pipe connected to the condensed water storage of the desalination system at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (Warning)" from NISA in response to the radioactive water leakage from the condensed water transfer pipe connected to the condensed water storage of the desalination system (reverse osmosis membrane) at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (due to the anti-pressure hose coming off of the connecting flange). (Press release issued on April 6, 2012)
In accordance with the direction and the warning given, measures have been taken against radioactive water leakage into the sea from the condensed water transfer pipe connected to the condensed water storage of the desalination system at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. The summarized report on this matter has been submitted to NISA today.
