We deeply apologize to the people of Fukushima and broader society for the tremendous inconvenience and anxiety caused by the accident at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.

We also would like to apologize for placing heavy burden on our customers' daily lives and business activities by requesting an electricity rate raise under the current severe economic situation.

Today, the assessment policy for the electricity rate raise has been announced. Although the policy seems quite harsh on us and will require tremendous efforts in implementing further business streamlining and cost reduction, we accept it with sincerity and will promptly revise our request.
