Today, we received 46.6 billion yen from the Nuclear Damage Compensation Facilitation Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Corporation) based on the revised Special Business Plan approved on May 9, 2012.

This financial support was given in response to our fourth request made in order to cover the compensation payout to be completed by the end of June, as the sum of the compensation received in accordance with the "Act on Contract for Indemnification of Nuclear Damage Compensation" (120 billion yen) and the financial support provided by the Corporation (882.2 billion yen) will not be sufficient for the total amount of payout.

With the funds received from the Corporation, we will continue our utmost efforts in implementing the "compensation payouts with empathy" in consideration of those afflicted by the nuclear damage.
