Today, we received the amount of 104.9 billion yen from the Nuclear Damage Compensation Facilitation Corporation (hereafter, the Corporation) as a second financial support based on the revised Special Business Plan approved on February 13.

This is in response to our request for the additional support as we expect that the aggregate amount of compensation payout by the end of April will exceed the previously received financial support. So far we have received 120 billion yen as compensation stipulated in the "Act on Contract for Indemnification of Nuclear Damage Compensation" and 558.7 billion yen from the Corporation as first financial support.

With the funds received from the Corporation, we will immediately implement the "compensation payouts with empathy" in consideration of those afflicted by the nuclear damage.
