Press Release (Mar 26,2012)
Receipt of directive document regarding spillage of water which contained radioactive materials into the sea due to the water leakage in the area of condensed water tanks for water desalinations (reverse osmosis membrane) of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

Regarding the water leakage that contained radioactive materials from a pipeline (anti-pressure hose) which transferred the condensed water from water desalinations to condensed water tanks in the area of condensed water tanks for  water desalinations (reverse osmosis membrane) of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and the spillage of a part of the contaminated water into the sea through a drainage, we received a directive document titled "Action for water leakage that contained radioactive materials from a pipeline (anti-pressure hose) which transferred the condensed water to condensed water tanks for water desalinations of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (Direction)" from the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) today.

Based on this directive, we will take action to resolve this matter and report to NISA.
