On February 3, we received an instruction document "Thoroughgoing and 
enhancement of fire countermeasure at Fukushima-daiichi and Fukushima-daini 
Nuclear Power Station, Tokyo Electric Power Company (Instruction)" from 
the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) of Ministry of Economy, 
Trade and Industry (METI).
                                      (previously announced on February 4)

We submitted the report regarding enhanced structure plan against large 
scale fire at Fukushima-daiichi and Fukushima-daini Nuclear Power Station 
to METI based on this instruction document today.

We will continue to secure the structure against large scale fire around 
the power plant based on this plan. In addition, we will continue to manage 
fire risk through complete and enhanced countermeasures.
