<Updates are underlined>
○Renewal construction of a permanent building for No.7 monitoring post
Regarding the monitoring posts (No.1-7) installed at the boundary of the
site, we will renew the temporary building for the measuring equipment of
No.7, starting form today to Dec 20.
Since July, we have conducted monitoring by installing the measuring
equipment in a temporary building, as the old building for No.7 was lost
in the tsunami due to the Tohoku-Chihou- Taiheiyou-Oki Earthquake on March
11, 2011, we decided to enhance the building.
In the period of construction, there is a possibility that measurement
results vary to some extent due to the changes in the radiation condition
around the equipment.
Working dates are subject to change contingent on the weather conditions.
                                                 (Announced on October 25)
The renewal of the No.7 building was completed today.
As a result, on account of the transfer and replacement of detectors etc.,
the monitoring post becomes temporarily unavailable from today to December
21, we will continue monitoring with the remaining six (6) posts.
Working dates are subject to change contingent on the weather conditions.
