Regarding the event which leakage of water containing radioactive
materials at the water desalination (evaporative concentration apparatus)
of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station on December 4, we have received
an ordering document from NISA "Steps to be taken regarding the leak of
water including radioactive material at the water desalination of
Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (order)".
(Previously announced on December 5)
We have announced the result of estimation (provisional) of outflow of
water containing radioactive materials into the sea which was leaked from
the water desalination (evaporative concentration apparatus).
(Previously announced on December 6)
Thereafter, in accordance with the ordering document received, while we
will continue to investigate the cause of the leakage and establish
countermeasures and investigation of the soundness of other facilities,
today, we have reported to NISA regarding the result as of today for the
instructed items to NISA.
