We sincerely apologize to residents residing near the power stations and 
the general public for the tremendous inconvenience and anxiety that has 
arisen on account of the accident at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power 
Station and Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Station (the "Accident").

We submitted the request for payment of compensation for damages caused by 
Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station accident as per the Compensation 
Contract for Nuclear Damage stipulated in Article 2 of the Act on 
Compensation for Nuclear Damage on October 24. We hereby inform you that 
we have confirmed the receipt of payment for compensation in the amount of 
JPY 120 billion.

We will continue to do our best to ensure that the indemnification payment 
process is as convenient as possible for all applicants.
