Regarding the report on result of re-examination of the report on seismic safety assessment report of unit 1 and unit 7 of Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station to NISA
On August 22, 2011, we received an instruction document titled "Response to 
Data Mis-entry Made by Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., Regarding Seismic 
Safety Assessment for Reactor Buildings and Auxiliary Reactor Buildings of 
Units 3 and 4, Takahama Nuclear Power Station (instruction)"* from NISA.
                                 (Previously announced on August 23, 2011)

In response to this instruction document, we have checked if there were any 
errors in the input data for analysis and assumptions and have re-examined 
seismic safety assessment regarding unit 1 and unit 7 of Kashiwazaki-Kariwa 
Nuclear Power Station. As a result of survey this time, we have confirmed 
there were no errors in the input data and assumptions and there were no 
problems on the seismic safety assessment and reported the result to NISA 
today.

In addition, we also reported NISA there were some description errors which 
have no impact on the result of seismic safety assessment.
