Evaluation status of internal exposure dose of emergency workers
We have been evaluating exposure dose of workers at Fukushima Daiichi
Nuclear Power Station in the following two categories:
  -Internal exposure dose
  -External exposure dose

We have sequentially submitted interim reports to Ministry of Health,
Labor and Welfare on the following items when each reporting due date
comes, and have made announcements.
(a) Evaluation results of internal exposure dose from March to August (15,
812 persons. Remaining 278 persons including 20 persons whose contact
information was unknown will be evaluated hereafter.)*1
(b) From (a), detailed evaluation*2 results of internal exposure dose for
workers with the aggregate evaluation of internal and external
exposure dose over 250mSv (6 persons)
(C) From (a), evaluation results of internal exposure dose for workers
with evaluation of internal exposure dose over 20mSv (349 persons,
    including 6 persons in (b))
       (Previously announced on June 10, 20, July 7, September 15, and 30)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
We would like to announce that we have compiled the following two issues
and reported to Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare today.
(1)Evaluation status of internal exposure dose (Refer to Attachment 1 of
   the Exhibit)
  - The number of workers who are not finished evaluation of internal
exposure dose from March to August became 86 persons from 278 persons
as of September 30. The evaluation results of workers who finished
evaluation this time are as follows.
      Over 20mSv 1 person
  - The number of employees newly engaged in the work on September was 1,
133, and the maximum external exposure dose was 30.81 mSv.
  - The evaluation results of workers who finished evaluation for
September are as follows. Also there are 87 persons to be evaluated
    hereafter.
      Over 20mSv 0 person
(2)Regarding the investigation on the workers whose contact information is
   not identified
  - We reported it as per Attachment 2 of the Exhibit.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

In addition, we are planning to report to Ministry of Health, Labor and
Welfare as follows.
  - Evaluation results of internal exposure dose of the workers who are

    30)
  - Progress status of the investigation for the workers whose contact
    information are unknown (November 30)

                                                                       END

*1 The number of the evaluated from March to August as of September 30

*2 Detailed evaluation of internal exposure dose
Regarding the evaluation of internal exposure dose, firstly, a measurement
of the amount of residual radioactive material by whole body counter (WBC)
installed in Hirono football ground nearby J-VILLAGE will be conducted.
When the result of the measurement exceeds 20mSv, as detailed evaluation,
re-evaluation specifying irradiated date based on interview, etc. or
detailed measurement by using WBC of Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA)
intended for detailed examination will be conducted. The evaluation result
may be reviewed depend on the evaluation progress.
