On March 11 2011, turbines and reactors of Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power
Station Units 1 to 4 (Boiling Water Reactors, rated output 1,100 Megawatts)
that we had been constantly operating at rated thermal output were
automatically shut down at 2:48 pm due to the Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyou-Oki
Earthquake.
(previously announced on March 11)
At 7:15 am on March 15, the reactor of Unit 4 achieved cold shutdown. As a
result, all reactors of Units 1 to 4 at Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power
Station achieved cold shutdown.
(previously announced on March 15)
As of 3:00 pm on October 25, the reactors of Units 1 to 4 are in cold

○ The renewal construction of a permanent building which will be
installed No.7 monitoring post
Among monitoring posts (No.1 - 7), which are installed at the boundary of
the plant site, we are constructing the renewal of the building which will
be installed No.7 monitoring post's measurement equipment from today to
Dec 20.
We will start the measurement in the permanent building be installed No.7
monitoring post, although the old building was lost by the tsunami with
the Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyou-Oki Earthquake which occurred on March 11
2011,we are continuing the measurement in the temporary building from July.
In the period of working, there is a possibility that measurement results
will change to some extent due to the change of radiation circumstance
around the measurement equipment.
Working dates might be changed due to weather.
