Report on application status of the Accident Operation Manuals of Unit 1 at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station
On October 14, we have received instruction documents from Nuclear and 
Industrial Safety Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry 
(NISA), entitled "Response based on the report on the Accident Operation 
Manuals of Units 1 to 3 at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station"*1 and 
"Investigation on the Implementation Status of Accident Operation of Units 
1 to 3 at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station"*2.
                                (Previously announced on October 14, 2011)

In response to this October 21, we have submitted a report to NISA with 
regards to application status the accident operation manuals of Unit 1 at 
Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. *3

NISA requested us to submit the report (*2) by October 21, 2011, however, 
we have asked them to extend the deadline until October 28 because it 
takes time to investigate the status. On October 21, 2011, NISA have 
approved it.

We have provided a Japanese press release version of the instruction 
document received from NISA. However, at this time we have reserved the 
right not to provide an English version due to potential misunderstandings 
that may arise from an inaccurate rendering of the original Japanese text. 
We may provide the English translation that NISA releases in our press 
releases. However, in principle we would advise you to visit the NISA 
website for timely and accurate information.
