We received the instruction document*1 titled "Submission request for the
report on the Accident Operation Manuals of Units 1 to 3 at Fukushima
Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" from the Nuclear and Industrial Safety
Agency (NISA) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and
submitted the accident operation manuals of Units 1 to 3 to NISA before
September 28.

Further, we also received an instruction document*2 from NISA titled
"Response based on the report on the Accident Operation Manuals of Unit 1
at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" on September 27 and an
instruction document*3 from NISA titled "Response based on the report on
the Accident Operation Manuals of Unit 2 and 3 at Fukushima Daiichi
Nuclear Power Station" on September 28.
Per the instructions on September 27, we have organized materials
regarding information contained in the Accident Operations Manual of Units
1 to 3 at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station that may be detrimental
to safety and reported them to NISA before October 7*4.

Today we have received instruction documents from Nuclear and Industrial
Safety Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, entitled
"Response based on the report on the Accident Operation Manuals of Units 1
to 3 at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station"*5 and "Investigation on
the Implementation Status of Accident Operation of Units 1 to 3 at
Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station"*6.
We will respond to these instructions, summarize the results and report
them to Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency of the Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Industry.

*4 In the instruction document the above (*3), we were required to report
by October 4, 2011, but, as it took more time to confirm the related
facts, on October 4, 2011, we asked NISA to postpone the deadline of
the report and NISA accepted it and instructed us to submit by October
7, 2011.
