Today, we applied for approval to set the supply condition outside of the 
Rules of the Supply of Electricity (special measures for a new contract 
category of Lighting Tariff; Fixed-rate Lighting and Public Street 
Lighting A) to the Minister of Economy Trade and Industry in order to set 
up a new contract category for the Lighting Tariff.

Nowadays, the expansion of the usage of high-efficient and small lighting 
apparatus such as LED lights and organic electroluminescence lights in the 
lighting market is socially expected, in line with the development 
progress of those apparatus with a higher interest in energy conservation 
and power saving.

In considering the support of the trend of such high-efficient and small 
lighting apparatus, we decided to set up a new contract category of Fixed-
rate Lighting and Public Street Lighting A, which can be applied the 
Lighting Tariff up to 10 watts.

The summary of the special measures for the new contract category of 
Lighting Tariff; Fixed-rate Lighting and Public Street Lighting A is as 
follows.
