Power Supply and Demand Outlook in This Summer and Measures(12th Release)
In order to continue "in principle avoidance" of planned blackouts, we 
will continue our efforts to maintain supply capacity and request for 
conserving electricity. Today, we reviewed the supply - demand outlook for 
the week starting from August 27. At the same time we summarized the 
supply - demand outlook from September 3 to September 23. and announce as 
follows.

* Maximum peak load is maximum demand outlook in each week and supply capacity is average in each week. * Maximum peak load recorded in the second week last September was 57,980MW (Sep 6, 2011). * Maximum demand outlook in the third and forth weeks in September will be analyzed.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused, and appreciate your cooperation to save power usage, END <Reference 1> Power Interchange to Tohoku Electric Power Company We will provide electric power to Tohoku Electric Power Company as much as we can in order to recover the supply–demand power balance in Tohoku area, which was severely damaged by the earthquake and the downpour, taking thorough measures to balance our supply and demand. <Reference 2> Special Telephone Service for high-voltage customers We had established the "Special Telephone Service for the High-voltage Customers" since May 17 for the customers receiving high-voltage power with contracts less than 500kW. As the number of phone calls made for the service is declining, we will terminate the service at 17:00 on August 31st. Please call our customer center after the termination of the service.
