On June 21, 2011, we started sampling surveys of the seawater at 6 points 
in the offshore area of Miyagi Prefecture. 
                                                    (Previously announced)

Today we conducted a nuclide analysis of radioactive materials in the 
seawater sampled on August 9. As a result, radioactive materials were not 
detected as described in the appendix. 

Accordingly, today we reported the result to Nuclear and Industrial Safety 
Agency and the government of Miyagi Prefecture. We will continuously 
conduct the same sampling surveys.
