On July 13, 2011, we received an instruction document titled "Improvement
instruction regarding the exposure of radiation workers exceeding dose
limit at emergency work in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo
Electric Power Company (instruction)"* from Nuclear and Industrial Safety
Agency (NISA) of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. (previously
announced on July 13)
Since then we finished a report on the cause investigation and preventive
measures with regards to radiation exposures by workers who have exceeded
dose limit while engaged in emergency works at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear
Power Station, which we submitted to NISA today.
Moreover, regarding an event that occurred on July 26 where a worker of a
partner company found himself wearing a mask without a charcoal filter, we
reported the cause investigation and preventive measures to NISA based on
the verbal instruction from them.
