Today, we opened and started operating Official Twitter Account for
Rolling Blackouts with support from Digital Garage, Inc. (Kaoru Hayashi,
President/Group CEO).
The Official Twitter Account for Rolling Blackouts is exclusively used for
sending out information related to rolling blackouts. While we have
already operated an official account "OfficialTEPCO", we expect that we
would be able to rapidly and properly deliver information about rolling
blackouts to the applicable customers by using a dedicated account.
With regard to the Official Twitter Account for Rolling Blackouts, each
group (1-A - 5-E) is provided with a different account. If rolling
blackout is necessary, we would tweet the information through the
designated account to the targeted group(s). A customer can be informed
of important information by following the account of his/her area out of
25 accounts.
Moreover, a customer who uses a Twitter function "Notice by Email" would
be able to receive the contents tweeted in the following account by email.
In operating multiple accounts we utilize Twitter Account Management Tool
"Tweetmanager" developed and sold by Digital Garage's subsidiary CGM
Marketing, Inc. The multiple account operation has been realized by the
improvement of "Tweetmanager" by CGM Marketing who enabled it to send
information from multiple accounts at once.
