We have applied to Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry for and have
today received an approval for, in order to reduce burden on customers who
have evacuated from Specific Locations Recommended for Evacuation
designated by Act on Special Measures Concerning Nuclear Emergency
Preparedness, setting exceptional conditions of electricity supply (Special
Measures for customers who have evacuated from Specific Locations
Recommended for Evacuation) to General Supply Provisions, based on a
proviso of Section 1 of Article 21 of Electricity Business Act. The
contents are as follows.
- Deferring due dates of electricity bills in new addresses where
customers have moved
<Coverage>
In case customers who have evacuated from Specific Locations
Recommended for Evacuation on and after a day when Specific
Locations Recommended for Evacuation were designated have newly
concluded contracts with us in our power supply area and applied for
the measures, the measures will be applied based on the applications.
<Special Measures>
We will defer due dates of electricity bills (30 days from the next
day of meter-reading one) for 3 months in a settlement month which
includes a day when they evacuated (Month of Evacuation), 2 months in
the next month of Month of Evacuation and 1 month in the month after
that.
- Exemption of extra adjustments of electricity bills and power supply
work fees

In case customers who have evacuated from Specific Locations
Recommended for Evacuation on and after a day when Specific Locations
Recommended for Evacuation were designated have applied for the
measures, the measures will be applied based on the applications.
<Special Measures>
We will not adjust electricity bills or power supply work fees if the
customers terminate contracts of capacity or power or renewed it of
decreased one within a year when they newly conclude contracts of
capacity or power or renew it of increased one.
