We, TEPCO, have established "Fukushima Aid Administrative Dept" under the
"Fukushima Nuclear Influence Response Division", today, to strengthen the
support system of the residents and areas influenced by the accident of
Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.
"Fukushima Nuclear Influence Response Division", through "Fukushima Support
Office" and "Fukushima Nuclear Compensation Office", has been in charge of
support activity of influenced residents by delivering necessary goods to
evacuation sites and assisting temporary access to the Restricted Area as
well as sincere consultation for the damage of nuclear accident including
receipt of application for temporary compensation payment.
In order to respond to the request for the support and demand for
compensation in a timely and appropriate manner, we will strengthen the
comprehensive administrative support function of the Fukushima Nuclear
influence Response Office.
In detail, we will establish "Fukushima Aid Administrative Dept" under the
"Fukushima Nuclear Influence Response Division" and enhance response
ability to the request from the influenced residents and appropriately
manage support and compensation duty.
Accordingly, we will change the position of General Manager to Norio
Tsuzumi, the Vice President.
We, TEPCO, will continue to work closely with the national government and
local government of influenced area together with the assistance of the
national government and sincerely respond to the support to the influenced
residents and respond to the compensation for the nuclear damage in good
faith.
