Receipt of instruction document from NISA on cause analysis on exposure of radiation workers exceeding dose limit and development of measures on recurrence prevention at emergency work in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station
On June 10, 2011, we received an instruction document titled "Cause
analysis on exposure of radiation workers exceeding dose limit and
development of measures on recurrence prevention at emergency work in
Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo Electric Power
Company (instruction)"* from Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency
(NISA) of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Based on the instruction document, regarding our cause analysis on
exposure of radiation workers exceeding dose limit and our development
of measures on recurrence prevention at emergency work, we will put
them together and report to NISA by June 17, 2011.

On June 10, 2011, Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (hereinafter
called "NISA") received a report from your good self that, since the
2011 Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake occurred, two employees
engaged in radiation work at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station
of Tokyo Electric Power Company had received effective dose exceeding
250 mSv of limit stipulated in Notice on Dose Limit based on Provision
of Order of Installation and Operation of Commercial Nuclear Reactor
for Power Generation in Case of Especially Imperative Emergency in the
2011 Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake (Notice of Ministry of
Economy, Trade and Industry No. 40, Year 2011) based on Section 2 of
Article 9 of Order of Installation and Operation of Commercial Nuclear
Reactor for Power Generation (Ordinance of Ministry of International
Trade and Industry No 77, Year 1978). 
Hence, NISA has issued a strong warning to your good self and
instructed you to conduct cause analysis on exposure of radiation
workers exceeding dose limit in the Power Station, to develop measures
on recurrence prevention and to report to NISA by June 17, 2011.
