The Tokyo Electric Power Co., Inc. (TEPCO) announces that effective as of
January 31, 2011, the previous financial forecasts made in October 29, 2010,
have been revised due to performance and related factors as outlined below.

The Reason for the Revision
Tokyo Electric Power revises its consolidated and non-consolidated Fiscal
2010 Year-end financial forecasts since a significant decrease in fuel
expenses is expected due to an increase in nuclear power generated by Unit
5 of the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station which restarted its
generation in November 2010 while expected operating revenues during the
same period is unchanged from those in the previous projection. Please see
