We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works 
and non conformances at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station 
after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/ Restoration Status 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between January 14 to January 
    20, 2011 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - Unit 2 500kV power cable inspection (Laying cables): 
       January 20, 2011 (To be completed)

   - Unit 3 Main generator inspection: 
       January 14, 2011 

   - Unit 5 Functional test for the entire plant (Final evaluation) 
       January 20, 2011 

   - Restoration and reinforcement work for the on-site/ outside roads & 
     slope, etc. (Maintenance work of central soil disposal yard): 
       January 17, 2011 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between January 21 to 
    January 27, 2011
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit 2 500kV power cable inspection (Voltage application test): 
       January 21, 2011 

 ◇ Work Schedule of Major Inspection and Restoration from January 16 to 
    February 12, 2011 

   - Work Schedule of the Main Inspection/ Restoration of the Kashiwazaki-
