Nonconformances Found in the Inspection and Restoration Works Performed
after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake
Based on the "Public Announcement Regarding Nonconformance Found in the

Earthquake," the Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated (TEPCO)
provides this announcement containing incidents information reported from
December 2 to December 8, 2010.
◇ Incidents Information (relating to the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake)

<Reports from December 2 to December 8, 2010>
◇ Other Findings
- Information on Nonconformances (those related to: the Chuetsu-Oki
Earthquake; Grades GI, GII, GIII; and non-graded)
(including nonconformances related to: the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake;
Grades As, A, B, C, D; and non-graded)

* By close reexamination of past nonconformance incidents, 1 of them
is identified as not related to the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake, so the
total number of them has been corrected.
- We are making every effort to carry on inspections and restoration
works at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after the
Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. In addition to this, we will implement
the inspection of heating ventilation and air-conditioning system
ducts which are placed inside and outside of Unit 2, Unit 3 and Unit
4, in the light of fact that air leakage from outdoor air-conditioning
duct (main body) and penetration part of outdoor air-conditioning duct
building was found at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. We
will perform the inspection for about 2 months from December 13, 2010.
