The Tokyo Electric Power Company Incorporated (TEPCO, TSE:9501) hereby 
announces the difference between its FY2010 (ending March 31, 2011) first 
half earnings outlook announced on July 30, 2010 and the actual results 
for the same period announced today.

The Reason for the Difference

An increase in electricity sales volume in the electric power business 
during the period resulted in the differences above in both consolidated 
and non-consolidated bases.
