We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works and non conformances 
at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/Restoration Status 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between June 25 to July 1, 2010 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - Unit 1 Functional test for the entire plant (Performance test of steam turbine (#1)):
       June 24* 

   - Unit 3 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works for stack):
       June 29 

   - Unit 4 500kV power cable inspection (Laying cables): 
       June 30 

   - Unit 4 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works for stack):
       June 29 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between July 2 to July 8, 2010 
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit 4 Turbine inspection (High-pressure turbine and low-pressure turbine 
     (A) (B) (C) restoration work): 
       July 5
