◇ Other Findings - We have confirmed that there is a possibility of a seat leakage in the reactor feedwater pump bypass valve and turbine-driven reactor feedwater pump discharge valve (B) of Unit 1. Subsequent detailed investigation revealed that there was a broad area of faulty contact of the valve seat of the turbine-driven reactor feedwater pump discharge valve (B). We will restore the valve after polishing the valve seat surface and making adjustment of the contact surface of the valve that touches the pipe when the valve is closed. - On May 22, malfunction was found in the control of the backup cooler of the off-gas system in Unit 1. Subsequent investigation revealed malfunction of a control valve of the coolant, which was replaced and the system was restored.
