We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works and nonconformances 
at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/Restoration Status

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between July 17 to July 23, 2009 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - On-site check, inspection and restoration of the oil protection bank for the transformer 
     (Unit No.5 Restoration work): 
       July 17 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between July 24 to July 30, 2009 
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit No.1 Main exhaust duct inspection and restoration (Restoration work): 
       July 29 
   - Unit No.1 Seismic reinforcement works (Unit No.1 and Unit No.2 Seismic reinforcement 
     works for stack):
