Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake
Based on the "Public Announcement Regarding Nonconformance Found in the Inspection and
Restoration Works Performed after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake", the Tokyo Electric
Power Company, Incorporated (TEPCO) provides this announcement containing incidents
information reported from April 2nd to April 8th, 2009.

- Information on Nonconformances (those related to: the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake; Grades As,
A, B, C, D; and non-graded)
* Numbers were corrected to reflect nonconformance incidents that had been
identified as not related to the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake (4 cases).
- We have begun sequentially handling of fires and hazardous material that has been banned
since March 5th, 2009.
