<Reports from March 26 to April 1, 2009>
◇ Other Findings
- On March 27th, we received a termination notice from the fire headquarters of
Kashiwazaki City regarding the ban of handling fire and hazardous materials
that had been in place since March 5th, 2009. The fire headquarters issued
the termination notice based on their decision that TEPCO's plan to revamp fire
and hazardous material handling works was adequate.
As we have reconfirmed work procedures and conducted pre-work safety meetings,
we will begin carrying out hazardous material from April 2nd.
