We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works and nonconformances 
at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/Restoration Status

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between March 13th to March 19th, 2009 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - Unit No.2 Main generator inspection (Rotor carrying in): 
      March 18th 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between March 20th to March 26th, 2009 
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit No.5 Main transformer inspection (Carrying in and installation work): 
      March 23rd 
   - High-voltage start-up transformer #2 inspection (Transportation into the factory): 
      March 26th
