at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/Restoration Status

 ○ Inspection and restoration completed between January 16th to January 22nd, 2009 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   • Unit No.3 Reactor recirculation piping preventive maintenance (Ultrasonic testing): 
      January 22nd 
   • Unit No.6 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works such as pipe 
     supports): 
      January 19th 

 ○ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between January 23rd to January 29th, 2009 
    (To be commenced on the following date)  

   • Unit No.1 Seismic reinforcement works (Preparation for seismic reinforcement 
     works for the fuel handling machine): 
      January 23rd 
   • Unit No.1 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works for the roof 
     truss of the reactor building):
