Status of the Inspection and Restoration Works Performed after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake (as of August 7th)
We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works and 
nonconformances at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after 
the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/Restoration Status

 ○ Inspection and restoration completed between August 1st to August 7th, 2008 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   • Unit No.1 Stack inspection (Unit No.1 and Unit No.2) (Unit No.2 Internal inspection 
     of stack): 
      August 5th 
   • Unit No.3 Main generator inspection (Rotor carrying in): 
      August 1st 
   • Unit No.3 Stack inspection (Detailed inspection for top of stack): 
      August 4th 
   • Unit No.5 Main transformer inspection (On-site transportation): 
      August 5th 
   • Unit No.7 Reactor-well inspection (Vacuum work): 
      August 1st 

 ○ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between August 8th to August 21st, 2008 
    (To be commenced on the following date)
