the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake.

Nonconformances Found in the Inspection and Restoration Works Performed after
the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake
Based on the "Public Announcement Regarding Nonconformance Found in the Inspection and
Restoration Works Performed after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake", the Tokyo Electric
Power Company, Incorporated (TEPCO) provides this announcement containing incidents
information reported from May 22nd to May 28th, 2008.

○ Other Findings
• Unit No.7
As part of a verification process of the reactor pressure vessel (RPV), a pressure/leak
test will be conducted from June 3rd, 2008 by increasing the pressure of the RPV to
approximately 3.5MPa, which is about half the normal operating pressure. As for the
primary containment vessel, a leak test will be carried out from June 11th to confirm
