Tokyo --- No.7 reactor at the Kashiwazaki-Kariawa Nuclear Power Station
has been automatically shutdown due to the earthquake occurred around
8:57 am today.

Reactor No.1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 are in operation with rated output. Reactor
No.4 is under periodical inspection.
We are currently implementing a checkup for each plant. 

There is no risk of radioactive leakage or other environmental damage
due to this shutdown.
